Under Ujjwal Dristi Yojana a project for Government School students for screening the eyes was conducted by our club Rotary Bangalore Gulmohar at 16 Government School an Colleges in and around Tiptur Taluk . The Project Avoidable Blindness and Disease Prevention has benefited to many students
Our club with the help of Government Health Department Doctors of Tiptur and refractionists helped us to screen more than 9000 + Students in the above mentioned Schools and Colleges.
The Doctors and the Refractionists with the help of Interact Club members identified the beneficiaries with Sight problems. It Took us 5 days to complete this wonderful project. This Project of Community Service helped and identified 300+ beneficiaries with eye sight. Later these students will be benefitted with free spectacles.
